This tour commences in Laos, in Ban Huay Sai, and all participants should be in Chiang Khong the Chiang Khong can be reached by bus from Chiang Rai, Chiang Saen or direct from Bangkok. It is suggested that this itinerary be booked in conjunction with a tour of North Thailand at the beginning and possibly a tour through Northeast Thailand at the end.
On the final day,in the afternoon, transfer to Mittaphap Bridge and return to Nong Khai prior to the bridge closing at 17.00.
Participants may at this point either commence a tour of Northeast Thailand or return directly to Bangkok by overnight train.
